What We Are Looking For: Seeking a talented developer who can work with Excel files and utilize web software to convert them to robust web tools (like these).
Duties entail working with engineers to optimize spreadsheets and integrate them with our web team for client use online, updating and managing results, updates, code changes and custom client needs. Work is hybrid, with attendance in our Boca Raton, FL, or Tampa, FL, offices required as needed (4-8 days per month on average). Detailed knowledge of web programming is optional, but HTML and basic WordPress operations are a must. The position is preferably full-time with a complete benefits package, but freelance and part-time possibilities will be considered.
Your Role:
As a Digital Innovations Developer, you’ll be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and maintaining a variety of digital tools and systems which drive efficiency across the organization. Your tasks will include building custom calculators under the direction of our skilled structural engineering team and processing them for use both internally and externally through our online calculator interface so our clients can get immediate, reliable engineering. You’ll also help research, test, and implement new software which will allow our design team to expand the range of engineering services we offer.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Develop tools, calculators, online calculators, and other systems to assist in the day-to-day operations and designs of the Engineering team, Reception Team, functionality of the online store, and client’s custom-requisitioned projects on an as-needed basis. This work is intended to ensure technical competence and compliance with all current codes and criteria, as directed and supervised by the project’s lead engineer.
