Bennardo Joins with Structural Engineers Association of New York

It’s official:  Frank L. Bennardo, P.E. has been accepted into the Structural Engineers Association of New York. He brings his vast expertise in storm damage evaluation and expert wind experience to the organization, as well as the full cooperation of his 18 person expert design team.

Entering with his willingness to instruct those engineers not as qualified, Bennardo joins with the specialty interest in providing publications and presentations from his 20 plus years of experience from Hurricane Andrew to Hurricane Sandy.  His mission includes explaining the damaging and cyclical forces that storms such as Sandy play on buildings and other structures as well as providing a much deeper understanding of the effects of these storms on building products.

Mr. Bennardo is also the incoming 2013 President of the Palm Beaches Chapter of the Florida Structural Engineers Association, making this advancement a perfect fit to best serve those affected by the Superstorm in the Northeast.  He has held a Professional Engineer’s License and has been designing structures in NY and NJ for 10 years as well as 22 other states in the US and is a former resident of New York.

With his combined expertise evaluating over 100 significant structures in the wake of the storms of the last decade, his mentoring to the Product Approval project, and his Florida and New York presence, Bennardo is uniquely skilled to assist in the identification and restoration of the many damaged structures in the Northeast.
