Frank Bennardo is a Board Certified Professional Structural Engineer licensed in over 30 states in the US.  He has utilized his talents to create companies that continue to reshape the engineering and construction industries.

As founder and President of Engineering Express®, Mr. Bennardo brings unprecedented corporate structure to building component engineering and product evaluations in industries such as glazing design, mechanical equipment, safeguards, canopies & sunrooms, and many other specialized building components across America.

In 2005 he patented a unique modular Hurricane Netting System that encapsulates buildings and surrounding components during storms and formed a company that produced the CAT-5 Netting System.  In 2008 he pioneered a unified structure for cloud-based building product certification performance data streamed this information to national government agencies and associations. His pioneering work automating engineering processes has spawned groundbreaking engineering technologies including providing semi-autonomous ecommerce pre-engineering channels for dozens of national clients and growing.

Mr. Bennardo is a leading national glazing consultant, building component structural engineer, forensic expert, and building product evaluation consultant.  Mr. Bennardo has performed inspections and forensic expert witness testimony to thousands of damaged residences affected by storms in Florida, Texas, and the northeast since Hurricane Andrew.  He has also designed and performed glazing consultant management services for high rise structures in major US cities and has evaluated hundreds of building product components.

He continues to manage his companies, speaks at national events, and is active on boards in his fields of expertise.

Mr. Bennardo is the President and founder of Endymion Blue, LLC, a company evolving building product design plans since 2008.  That company produced the highly acclaimed project, publishing data in real time to dozens of government agencies and trade associations from 2008-2016,  and has grown to become in 2017. is a national registry of building product plans along with many innovative features to interact with them in the growing digital world.

Mr. Bennardo also co-owned CAT-5 Protection, Inc., which developed of the CAT-5 Hurricane Netting System. He has received a patent for his extensive research and development on a netting system that has been successfully deployed over areas such as houses, mobile homes, boats, cars, trailers, signs, lanais, and much more . The CAT-5 Net has been protecting against storms and severe winter weather since 2005 across the globe.
