This Railing Performance Evaluation certifies Jakob Rope Systems: Stainless Steel Modular Railing System Performance Evaluation Report (Horizontal Cables for stair and railing use). This document has been designed to meet the requirements of the selected Building Code and, upon ordering, will be signed and sealed by a Professional Engineer of the firm. Use it along with your other project documents to obtain a building permit. It is generic, and installations beyond the scope and limitations of this document shall require site-specific engineering (Former Plan #21-36301)

This engineer-sealed plan has been designed to meet the requirements of the selected Building Code across the US and inside and outside the HVHZ in Florida (All of Florida, including Dade & Broward Counties). Use it along with your other project documents to obtain a building permit.

Select core drill, surface, or face mount steel post installation with horizontal stainless steel cable pickets.

HOW THIS PLAN IS USED:

1. Purchase and receive a signed and sealed copy of this plan to be used for the permit.
2. As this is NOT site-specific, a design professional (such as the architect or engineer of record) must approve the applicability of this product to a site-specific address.  This document alone is NOT to be used to obtain a permit without approval for use as a site-specific application.
3. Obtain your permit and install the product.  The installation will be field reviewed for compliance with the architectural and master plans. Any discrepancies shall require a complete site-specific evaluation by this firm or a determination by others that modifications are acceptable/how to repair.  Any modifications to our plans become the responsibility of others.
