Welded Aluminum Stair Rail – Railing with Grabrail Option (MPS 20-35442)

This railing master plan certifies a standard code-compliant core drilled stair rail with grabrail option. Many variations of this plan can be created for you through a site-specific quote. It is intended to be used as a baseline for design since applications frequently deviate from this plan. This document has been designed to meet the requirements of the selected  Building Code inside and outside the HVHZ¹ and upon ordering will be signed and sealed by a Professional Engineer of the firm. Use it along with your other project documents to obtain a building permit. It is generic and installations using this document shall require site-specific engineering.

HOW THIS PLAN IS USED:

1. Purchase and receive a signed and sealed copy of this plan to be used for permit.
2. As this is NOT site-specific, a design professional (such as the architect or engineer of record) must approve the applicability of this product to a site-specific address.  This document alone is NOT to be used to obtain a permit without approval for use as a site-specific application.
3. Obtain your permit and install the product.  The installation will be field reviewed for compliance with the architectural and master plans. Any discrepancies shall require a full site-specific evaluation by this firm or a determination by others that modifications are acceptable/how to repair.  Any modifications to our plans become the responsibility of others.
