This certification is for a non-impact wind abatement approval of the retractable surface mount Phantom Motorized Retractable Screen using a 4′ roller. The certification is sold as an engineered sealed Evaluation Report and meets the requirements of the structural wind integrity per the selected building code using ASCE 7 for the system wind pressure capacity approval. Upon ordering, a Professional Engineer of the firm will sign and seal. Use it with your other approved documents to obtain a permit from the Building Department. It is generic (non-site-specific) & installations beyond the scope and limitations of this document shall require site-specific engineering.
